    Small vs. Medium
    If you measure 16 inches or less, purchase a Small; If the measurement is greater than 16 inches, size up to a Medium.

    Medium vs. Large
    If you measure 19 inches or less, purchase a Medium; if the measurement is greater than 19 inches, size up to a Large.

    Large vs. X-large
    If you measure 22 inches or less, purchase the Large; if the measurement is greater than 22 inches, size up to an X-Large.

    Size straddling is specific to the knee (not all products).

  • Reparel sleeves are not compressive in nature. They should feel snug, yet comfortable—allowing for a full range of motion, while staying in place on the applied area. They tend to be so comfortable that many users report that they forget that they’re wearing the Reparel sleeve.

    When inflammatory symptoms are present, such as heat or swelling, you may feel a cooling or tingling sensation when you first apply the Reparel sleeve. These sensations may develop due to increased circulation in the applied area.

  • Yes. The sleeve was specifically designed for overnight use. Actually, it is recommended. By wearing the Reparel sleeve at night, you capitalize on your body’s increased healing potential while fully at rest, and you counteract the natural reduction in circulation that occurs while sleeping.

  • Sometimes. Not all our sleeves are covered by private insurance. Our Knee Brace Undersleeve and Walking Boot Undersleeve may be covered when prescribed by a licensed physician in certain practice applications.

  • Usually, yes. When prescribed by your physician, please use HCPCS reference code A4467. If seeking reimbursement after purchasing directly from our website, please reference the same code (A4467).

  • You can wash your Reparel sleeve in cold water and tumble dry on low. To extend the life of the sleeve, we recommend placing the sleeve in a delicate bag or pillowcase in the washer to prevent snags and other materials from clinging to the fabric.

  • No. Braces reduce movement to prevent severe injuries, especially in high impact sports. In contrast, Reparel sleeves advocate for increasing range of motion, which is shown to optimize the recovery and healing process.

  • With proper care, your Reparel sleeve should last years. See care instruction on how to improve the life of the product.

  • That is up to you. Many of our customers enjoy having a backup sleeve, especially when one is being washed. Plus, alternating between sleeves may extend the life of the product.

  • No. Reparel sleeves are only sold by prescription through a licensed physician or directly from us at Reparel.com.
